Hill's sign is the presence of higher systolic pressure in the leg than in the arm, and is said to be an indicator of the severity of aortic regurgitation. In mild aortic regurgitation the difference is less than 20 mmHg, in moderate regurgitation it is between 20 and 40 mmHg and in severe regurgitation it is over 60 mmHg.
